Introduction

Unfortunately, today's bibles fall far short of the standard required by the Lord God.

False Bibles

Jewish Bibles

The primary failure is one of incompleteness. Since they deny their Messiah they therefore exclude all mention of His life and sacrifice.

Secondary failure arises from the defiled covenant used and taught by the ignorant House of Desolation.

Jesus remarks on their defiled covenant and on their adherence to corrupt tradition:

[46] If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. (John 5:46 NRSV)
[3] He answered them, "And why do you break the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition? [4] For God said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must surely die.' [5] But you say that whoever tells father or mother, 'Whatever support you might have had from me is given to God,' then that person need not honor the father. [6] So, for the sake of your tradition, you make void the word of God." (Matthew 15:3-6 NRSV)

Messianic Jewish Bibles

The Messianic Jews take the new-covenant bible and slant it to a Jewish perspective. The danger is two-fold:

  1. The new-covenant bible is corrupt.
  2. They are attempting to reconcile the corrupt new-covenant bible with the defiled covenant trumpeted by the House of Desolation.

New-covenant Bibles

They should come with a health warning, as not only do they contain serious error, but they also attribute said error to the authority and guidance of the Lord Spirit. See:

Interpreted Translations

In order to understand what was said, it is necessary to refer to the original words. Hear-say is irrelevant. As for interpretation of what was said, this can all too easily lead to Death.

Only literal translation will measure up.

There will, of course, be differences in the meaning of words or in what was actually said. These variations need to be enumerated and commented upon, perhaps with forward refences for further study (less easy with written books; easy with computerised books).

Going Forward

The shift to the Spiritual Level

[Supervision by the Priesthood in the Order of Melchizedek.]

Infrastructure

Although Jesus shifted worship entirely to the Spiritual Level, He didn't do away with the need for infrastructure. He didn't abandon the Flock to a doctrine of the universal priesthood of believers - a quick study of the new-covenant church shows where that folly leads ... and ends.

With regard to infrastructure, it is necessary to look at the Timeline. There is the 'now', the current situation. But it is important to remember that context can change over a period of time. So, let's look at the changing context, and see its effect on infrastructure.

The lord Satan (aka: the Dragon; ancient Serpent; Devil) will be chained and confined in the Abyss:

[1] And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. [2] He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. [3] He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. (Revelation 20:1-3 NIV)

This period of time corresponds to the rebuilt Tent of David. Sin and error abound, only to ramp up when the lord Satan is released from the Abyss.

The Beast from the Abyss is released:

[7] Now when they [the Witnesses] have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. [8] Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. [9] For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. [10] The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth. [11] But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. [12] Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. (Revelation 11:7-12 NIV)

So what are the effects on infrastructure?

With the imprisonment of the lord Satan, there will be a period of time during which David's rebuilt Tent will thrive and will remain stable. Its Outreach will be so effective that many peoples will adopt the Covenant Model:

18 In that day, there shall be several towns in the land of Egypt speaking the language of Canaan and swearing loyalty to the LORD of Hosts; one shall be called Town of Heres.
19 In that day, there shall be an altar to the LORD inside the land of Egypt and a pillar to the LORD at its border. 20 They shall serve as a symbol and reminder of the LORD of Hosts in the land of Egypt, so that when [the Egyptians] cry out to the LORD against oppressors, He will send them a savior and champion to deliver them. 21 For the LORD will make Himself known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians shall acknowledge the LORD in that day, and they shall serve [Him] with sacrifice and oblation and shall make vows to the LORD and fulfill them. 22 The LORD will first afflict and then heal the Egyptians; when they turn back to the LORD, He will respond to their entreaties and heal them.
23 In that day, there shall be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians shall join with the Egyptians and Egyptians with the Assyrians, and then the Egyptians together with the Assyrians shall serve [the LORD].
24 In that day, Israel shall be a third partner with Egypt and Assyria as a blessing on earth; 25 for the LORD of Hosts will bless them, saying, “Blessed be My people Egypt, My handiwork Assyria, and My very own Israel. (Isaiah 19:18-25 (Tanakh))

Mount Zion will draw in both people and nations:

1 In the days to come,
The Mount of the LORD's House shall stand
Firm above the mountains;
And it shall tower above the hills.
The peoples shall gaze on it with joy,
2 And the many nations shall go and shall say:
“Come,
Let us go up to the Mount of the LORD,
To the House of the God of Jacob;
That He may instruct us in His ways,
And that we may walk in His paths.”
For instruction shall come forth from Zion,
The word of the LORD from Jerusalem. (Micah 4:1-2 (Tanakh))

But then, with the release of the lord Satan from prison, comes the deluge. Jesus mentions the chaos which will follow: the hatred, persecution and death; the abandonment of their faith by many; betrayal; the appearance of the Awful Horror... (Mat. 24:15 GNT; Dan. 9:27 GNT; Dan. 11:31 GNT; Dan. 12:11 GNT). And, in the Book of Revelation, we learn of the Mark of the Beast (Rev. 13:16-17), without which no one could buy or sell.

Places of worship which once offered education, forgiveness and enrichment of life, now became places of entrapment for those hunting them down. Unable to buy or sell, hunted down by their enemies, betrayed by family and friends, confronted by the Awful Horror, many will flee! However, there were no safe havens. And any possible haven would be short-lived following its betrayal to the authorities.

So, at this point on the timeline, places of worship will become traps. The loss of support will overwhelm many. The question for us today is, "How can we help and support our neighbours against the time when the rug of support will be ripped from under their feet?"

Perhaps the first thing is to understand the Messianically updated Covenant. Then one can rally to the invitation to assist with the rebuilding of David's fallen Tent. This is work that even Gentiles can engage in:

[The time] has come to gather all the nations and tongues; they shall come and behold My glory.
19 I will set a sign among them, and send from them survivors to the nations: to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud—that draw the bow—to Tubal, Javan, and the distant coasts, that have never heard My fame nor beheld My glory.
They shall declare My glory among these nations. 20 And out of all the nations, said the LORD, they shall bring all your brothers on horses, in chariots and drays, on mules and dromedaries, to Jerusalem My holy mountain as an offering to the LORD—just as the Israelites bring an offering in a pure vessel to the House of the LORD.
21 And from them likewise I will take some to be levitical priests, said the LORD. (Isaiah 66:18b-21 (Tanakh))

Rebuilding David's Fallen Tent

There is work here for Gentiles:

18 For I [know] their deeds and purposes.
